About the Author – Rosemary Herbert

Rosemary Herbert’s wide-ranging writings encompass poetry, journalism, reference books, and mystery and mainstream fiction. She has reviewed for the New York Times Book Review and Washington Post, contributed interviews to The Paris Review and Harvard Review, and served as book review editor and garden columnist at the Boston Herald. Her work was selected as a “Notable Poem” in the Radar Poetry Coniston Prize competition, and is published in Radar Poetry, Beyond Words Literary Magazine and in Tiny Seed Literary Journal and their Poetry of the Wild Flowers anthology. More is forthcoming The Last Milkweed anthology (Tupelo Press, 2025). She resides in Akron, Ohio, where she also pursues ceramic arts.

As the Edgar Award-nominated editor in chief of The Oxford Companion to Crime & Mystery Writing and the editor of several mystery anthologies, Rosemary’s thrilling mystery novel is Front Page Teaser: A Liz Higgins Mystery.
